Las Vegas

We arrived into Vegas on Tuesday September 9th.  It is only a short flight from LA (50 mins), the weather has continued to be fine, blue skies and quite warm at 90F (32C).  We are now in the land of Fahrenheit, miles, dimes, nickels, quarters and “Why thank you Mam”.

We are checked into the Bellagio Hotel on The Strip.  The Strip is nearly 5 miles long (8 kms), full of casinos, hotels, shops, bright lights, sex, alcohol and the people.  There are so many people.  Our hotel is simply luxurious and we are front and centre to view the famous Bellagio Fountains from the 15th floor room.  They seem to be in action frequently day and night.  At night it becomes a magical light show as well.

But what I am forgetting to mention is that I am actually here to work.  I am attending the Self Storage Association of America conference from Wednesday 10th to Friday 12th. But that is another blog.
