Today was an easy drive to LA via Long Beach. We checked into the Hotel Roosevelt in downtown Hollywood. Geoff and I left Liam and Carmel to explore Hollywood Boulevard whilst we drove out to the Getty Centre. The Museum is known for its architecture, gardens and views overlooking Los Angeles. The Centre sits on top of a hill and is connected to a visitors car park (7 levels underground) at the bottom of the hill by a three car, cable-pulled hovertrain people mover. The J. Paul Getty Trust is one of the world’s wealthiest art institutions with an estimated endowment in 2017 of US$6.9 billion.
